i usually spot flawed animations and particle-fx first and they continue to annoy me throughout a game. dirty textures or lighting bugs - not so much. :)
Hello! Looking for work as a lighting artist on stylized or semi-stylized project. Experienced with stylized art and realistic style. Primary engine - UE. As an addition I can make small weather FX such as fog, rain, clouds, etc. I'm also proficient in stylized Texturing. e-mail: 3doyster@gmail.com…
Definitely would be interesting to give it a poke and see what the ui and setup's like compared to UDK. Gotta say even with working in just the fx area of UDK it can be a royal pain to get anything done.
When I got an intern at a film studio, my first task was to model an alligator lol. It ended up being used in many tests in the FX department tho never used in any real shots.
It's possible, but annoying. You'd have to use ShaderFX in 3dsmax in order to create a FX shader for the viewport that imitates the behavior of your UDK shader. That way you can paint in Max then export that mesh out to UDK.
AMD FX 8350 -> ?? Do you have a PC or a laptop? Any integrated graphic card? (force to turn it off). Do you have problems only in this soft? How Fps looks like in the games?
You can be good at something close to it. Tech Art (rigger, tools, shaders, scripts, etc), FX, Level Design, UI. . . plenty of jobs for those folks. The problem is that you still need to be good at SOMETHING.
I've been posting mostly in the 3D section. But I figured this is more of a animation thing Your browser does not support HTML5 video! https://i.imgur.com/zQsq88B.gifv Working on a combat melee FX pack for unity
