Have you tried Reset Xform to fix the skewing? And for the rotated gizmo, set the coordinate system to "World" from "Local" on the main toolbar. -

It's a macroscript. When you run it it adds the script ro the usermacros folder and then you need to set it to a hotkey or toolbar in the customise ui dialogue. -

also more interactive tools, when your used to modo and silo it is a pain to have to bring up the toolbar and adjust tool settings there. -

Try typing FreeSceneBitmaps() into the listener and hit enter. This might help. If it works just drag and drop the text from the listener onto the toolbar. -

You can turn off both the TimeSlider (right-click toolbar area, uncheck TimeSlider) and the TrackBar (Customize > Show UI > Show TrackBar). -

I think that blender has that feature.Basically when you install an add that is used for editing meshes it should appear as a button in mesh tools toolbar. -

odd behavior it should only do that if there was no lattice point in the selection, you could always turn off selection of poly surfaces from the toolbar. -

$.pivot = [0,0,0] -- select and drag this text to a toolbar in max and now you have a one-click button Btw. the default shortcut for Affect Pivot is the Insert key.
