So much awesome, I love it all. The one thing you might want to switch around is the thumbnail for the props, the chain link seams kind of weak as a lead off object compared to the other objects in the same category.
I had the same thing happen to me, I think my problem was that the object wasn't on 0,0,0 when I exported it. If you're using Maya, make sure to place the object in the center of the world and to freeze all transformations.
One additional question involving teh wall. I want to make the glass apart of the object, when imported into unreal, how would i be able to assign a unique shader to just the glass if it is apart of the entire wall's object?
You are right in that the Nudge Brush does move the polygons along the surface without deforming it. However it does so within the shape of the object, i.e. does not move the edges of the object, which is what I wanted to be able to do.
I'm having a little trouble understanding what you're trying to do. Are you trying to animate a car going into a parking space? OR are you trying to get an object to follow a spline? Or is it that you are trying to model an object using splines?
Sage: easiest way would be holding down the move/scale/rotate key while working with the object then letting go and selecting another object. by holding the key down it stays temporary as long as you hold the key down.
You have like all of your objects set to see-through(x-ray) and your viewport transparency setting is set to none. That makes your see-through objects not see through at all, thus all ghey.
I did the bake in substance painter. It could be that if you are baking multiple objects, the match by name setup isn't occuring correctly and it's baking off other object into that part of the texture. Sorry for the late reply.
i guess you're baking with distances relative to bounding box? The bounding box of the object got a lot bigger (and also distoerted) when you added the other objects so the distances will need adjusting.
Maybe some 1 have advice, how to light object for best results? For DOTA 2 purpose. Object like standing character. What are good position to place lights? :) Sorry for my english.
