As far as I can tell there isn't a cycle happening. I have one IK solver going from the shoulder to the wrist for the elbow bend. I then have an IK solver from the knuckle of the finger to the tip for the finger bend. The bones are all parented from the hip - chest - and then shoulder down. Then I connect the controller at…
The same as in 99% of the games out there. The skeletons are mixable, hence why the mimic characters can use others animations. They are canned animations, but have small IK solvers for throws. Each character has basic grab points where other characters animations/skeletons connect to durring those lil IK solver anims.…
Awesome, thanks for the words Justo! 1- The secondary Chamfer, much like nGon solver, is not the 'use-all-the-time' solution too for me, but when I need it it's there. Normally for an object that has a large surface area and detail surface area on the same mesh it kinda help unified the Chamfer width without needed to…

I think the shoulder area is looking way to rounded. I would the shoulders to be flater and more of an angular transition. The cape looks too thin should have more tension and silhouette breakup. I do think the gold everywhere is too much maybe have some trim gold some silver. Looking good overall! Here is a paintover:
some values check and color.... I wanted to go with a tanned/gold skin color....so I need to work a more on it....not convinced about the blue wiith gold with red jewels...its kinda looks/feel live victorius so maybe im going to change the color scheme....maybe silver with blue jewels and red drapes.
Lil update. Need to make the shiny silver metal worn now. It's pretty basic. Hopefully after that's finished I can do a focused scratch pass instead of the more procedural stuff I have going on right now. Going to make the wood slightly more glossy and then wear it off instead of the matte feeling it has going now.
How about just turn all the white that is metal into silver. And all the cloth into a selection so you can just edit it to whatever color with ease. Here's also some chinese color's and what they symbolize. The link explains their origins (five elements/ black and white before that).…
Im sorry to all those affected :( Im trying to remain positive and chalk all of these up to growing pains, but its hard to see the silver lining in any of it. I know alot of start ups come from things like this, I wonder if there is anywhere documenting on those? I'd love to see new studio start up threads :|
Love the texture done so far. The scratches and wear and tear look believable. I think some color variation would help though, other than the greens presented. For example, here's a worn army tin which shows some silver where the color is chipped or scratched away, and rust as well. Great stuff you have!
