Looking really good! I have only one remark. The cylinderical shapes has 6 sided shape if you take a closer look at them. The shape of the geometry doesn't bend with the edges, so basically its still 6 sided :P

Just multiply the size you want the render to be (in inches) by 300, and set the resolution to that number. So, for example, if you wanted to make a 6" x 6" render at 300dpi, you would set the resolution to 1800 x 1800 pixels. That should work, right?
I still use max 6 as my 3d application of choice. I totally skipped 7, and now i use 8 a little bit. I still jump back to 6 when I need to do useful things, like unwrapping.
Once you have imported it into Zbrush, go to the Tool Pallette > Geometry > Size > XYZ = 6 The default value of hte XYZ Size should be 2, if you change it to 6, this wrap method will work with your plane. Also turn off subdivision smoothing.
