Maybe this will help, although I wont do something this small in MD if its going to be a game asset. I will simply use splines in max or whatever 3d tool for extreme details can go in Zbrush for fiber details and bake it all out in normal. As for making the fabric in md conform to the string I ll just simply use the…
Here I strike again! please any tips how to get the obj to Zbrush with torn edges created? I followed the tutorial and I get to the point, when I have torn edges in MD. But when I am trying to export it as .obj and import to Zbrush, I only get a mesh with normal edges, not torn. I guess it is because it do not use the…
anyone got a link to a high res map of the WoW world? i remember someone in #md linking to it a while ago. it was about 3mb 3000x6000 or something in size.
The first image is from Marvelous Designer, the others from 3dsmax. I exported the Md one to Zbrush to zremesh to have a better topology but this is destructive of Uvs, so I either simulate cloth in 3dsmax, or I thought about baking out the texture from the exported model of MD to a retopologized version of the same model…
Hey i think it looks awesome and is a cool character, but i would try to tighten up the right arm armor. It looks way to puffy, you lose to much of the arms silouhette beneath- the shots before MD give me a way better feel in comparison! Same for the trouser shorten it a bit maybe use less pressure in MD and lower the…
i would look into marvelous designer for all the cloth. the days of hand sculpting cloth are limited. simple clothing like that could be done in lass than 30mins in MD.
Thank you, parts of it were made in MD, like the sleeves and the cloak but most other things are sculpted, and I re-sculpted most things in zbrush on a new itteration.
No useful crits here, just mentioning that I really like the compression folds and planar bits on the trousers. You just don't get results like that from MD.
