I would agree about not using a Cintiq as a main display, I use IPS monitors along with my Cintiq Companion 2. Which if your worried about space is an awesome choice. Very powerful undocked from the pc as well which makes it nice to travel with.
Is anyone thinking about booking accomodation in Chelsea? As Ill be flying in from edinburgh, I was considering staying the night so I can enjoy myself without worrying about making my way back to heathrow (my navigational powers diminish after a few drinks).
Just for fun, I did a quick model of the armcannon from old-style power suit art and photoshopped a Prime style HUD. (EDIT) Wow, I posted this and just hours later they announced Metroid Prime 4. Apparently, I am some sort of wizard.
Hi I've made next part of this project  It's a simple fire estinguisher. I think it's important  I also added more details on power generator. I'm going to change left wire-doors to rollup doors and find better place for fire estinguisher.
Thanks, I guess 3D Coat is closer to ZBrush then? I think Maya LT or Blender would be my next choice, or maybe I should go back to SketchUp? Though the commercial license is a bit steep as I just need its modeling power for now...
hmmm.. ill try to snag 2011 right quick and try it. thx mang .. I just think this type of adjustment is so powerful, especially for curving surfaces and @bugo thx a ton, I found that slide tool in Nex and it works pretty well. But it is kinda buggy atm
I think with mayas GPU cache, one can handle huge amounts of static geometry in a scene with a powerful graphics card. I dont know, whether its in LT, or how it compares with XSIs GigaCore. But to be implemented as a good Level Editor it definately requires Python support.
That script looks pretty awesome, gonna have to give that a shot. I know about power nurbs, but I was really referring to Nurbs built in to the actual software, buying a 3rd party app, is not really an option at this point in time. But thanks for the script Perna, will have a look at that. -B
Another doodle! Unfortunately my powers been out for a while due to this hurricane so progress has been pretty slow to say the least. Gir lighting looks much better. Hair is a bit strange? It looks like you have a transparent plane over the head?
I remember reading about that game when I was a kid in Nintendo Power (oh yeah, I had a subscription) and thought it sounded fun. Rented it a few times, and just a month or so ago I was playing it on an emulator. Very cool to see them bringing it back.
