Try using the Projector brush - it's designed for that. J is the hotkey, and it's down and over one from the brush in the toolbar. -

A.marlowe: You can specify the explicit Photoshop connection in the future by clicking on the main Suite toolbar menu. :) -

Polycount in 3D! In Firefox, right click, inspect element, and on the toolbar that comes up, click 3D. It's fun. -

This is a hugely common problem. It's a bug with the toolbar Autodesk refuse to acknowledge. It happens with any key combo with alt in it.
