The story is awesome! It's so weird, and you're thrown around and you're constantly wondering what the fuck is happening. I've only played like 2.5 h so far though. I'm sort of bummed that they took away the masks for the levels, it gave you more out of every level when you replayed them. They solved it nicely though,…
Snowfly that would be awesome if I knew how. Two major issues which come to mind to solve would be making it available to a wide audience. I for one haven't jailbreaked (jailbroke?) my iPhone, so it would have to go on AppStore. Secondly, how would you fetch your data? You'd have to transfer by FTP or something similar I…
A best way to reduce this, is to add a connect. Because you would have shorter triangles, it would be less visible. As you can see its less visible where you have quads with evenly sized sides. Or projecting it from a highpoly mesh can completely solve it. Or , you can keep in mind the triangulation when texturing, and…
From what I briefly read. Which isn't much. But it really sounds like what you want is tenure. Which is probably the worst part of unionization as it keeps people employed who should not be. Though medical problems obviously suck and I hope you find something that will make you happy. Unionization of the games industry…
not really - it's an expensive way to draw an object due to the number of materials/overdraw etc. it's fine up close because you get loads of fidelity and at distance you can drop the decals entirely but the mid range is where I think you'll struggle to get something efficient and pretty. I'm sure there's a good solution,…
In the project Allom I had the opportunity to better understand the problem solving for a game character, the character was modeled in Zbrush, made the retopology and RIG in Maya, textured in the Substance Painter and rendered in real time in the Marmoset Toolbag. I hope you enjoy it, it was a lot of fun all the…
Just started using this plugin last night. Such hotness! It's a huge time saver for projects utilizing many subtools. Totally worth the cost for the pro version. Beefaroni, the organization data is encoded in the subtools' names, so it gets saved with the .ztl. There is also a function in the latest version that restores…
In theory, shouldn't a normalmap solve the crappy smoothshading you get with any of these version? I mean, some of them which are sharing same smoothing areas look crap due to the lack of polygons and extreme angles right? When these are compared to a highres perfectly smoothed version shouldn't the normal map neutralize…
i never have had a pain in the wrist, but i must say that when i'm drawing too many hours (don't ask me how many..), i feel a little pain on my hand. Some time without drawing and solved. The best way to avoid problems are a good position while working. Too many people have bad habits.
Interesting, I'm not sure if it was you on another forum or someone else, but I heard almost exactly the same thing about the scratch depth before, so I reduced the depth on the scratches layer to 75% long before posting these images. Edit: Forgot to mention that I completely repainted the hull plating depth. Less jaggies…
