Hi guys! This is my 1st time participating, always been a lurker. I'm impressed by everyone's quality and speed! I chose this shield (3rd row, 2nd col) so I could use it for my portfolio. Currently this is the base in Max, will retopo it after I'm done with high-poly. Any crits meanwhile will be highly appreciated :) -

I would say that this is a must watch for weapon creation http://racer445.com/pages/tutorials/ak-tutorial.php only thing I would suggest is when putting on your control edges for turbosmooth use an edit poly modifier so you can remove them for low poly much easier(if your using max) -

i would personally change the cloth on the upper arm so that it puffs out on the inside instead of the outside. right now the overall curve of the arms seems somewhat bowed outward at the elbow, which looks "wrong". puffing them inward would help flatten the outer silhouette. good job though, i really like this! -

Heh, i would like to make Nick Frost in cop car with icecream a bit later, but as midlepoly with displacement, etc. Also about small details on weapon, i decide to generate all logos on normal map, i thin it will look more cleat and i should not devide mesh to create crazy polycount in the scene. -

Yeah man, I believe you, at Nerve, I had an awesome experience with the programmers there, they had a great way of comming and talking to the artists and designers that I've never seen to be true. Layout is fine, screenshots/renders are tiny. Might want to up the rez on those, when you click em. A lot of the detail in them gets lost, imo. :P Also, I'd include the COH(V) stuff. They might look "bad" now, but for the standard back then, not so much. If nothing else, it will show your progress as an artist. -
