It didn't go quickly! I think this is better than before although a bit more ambitious(was even bigger at first), and could still be improved but I don't think I will bother until I'm further into it and have a better idea of what I'm doing and what looks good and makes sense in terms of layout and what doesn't. Probably…
Thanks for the crit Three9! If there's one thing I have learnt in life lol no crit is minor if it helps in the long run:] So with that said, I'll get the layout fixed tomorrow (bed now:P) and I'd love to hear what you have to say! As for the pose, I have yet to rig him, he would in fact be my first rig so im not sure how…
I'm not saying this is perfect or this is exactly what you should have, and I don't use it as a layout (even though I am tempted to), but I think that is maybe closer to the way of going, opposed to what you have currently. Have a look, I think you can still download the template. http://www.isaacoster.com/2009index.html…
i definitely feel this is working nicer, you guys were totally right about boosting the saturation. let me know if you think it needs more change also i've been re-designing my website, it's more or less done now, check it out and let me know what you think of the layout and stuff www.mknowland.com i'll be remaking the…
Update on this scene. I got busy with some freelance stuff for a while, but I finally got a chance to work on this again. I made some huge changes to the layout of the scene and added lots of stuff. There is still more to do such as replacing the lights down at the bottom with new models. I am still tweaking the lighting…
i dont know your uv layout and so on but if the glass of the windows are tiled in some sort it is best to mask a cubemap for that area and make the normalmap of the glass region very blurred, black and white difference clouds, which you then can turn into an normalmap and place it in the normal map of the window/glass…
definite art deco.deus ex happening here. your layout is dense and youve packed every space with detail. you've got style and fashion choices being made. the orange and green tones arent quite set right i dont think, theyre a little too light and id consider changing the green to a blue, blue generally sits better with…
There is no build-in way to do this atm. If you only have a couple of UDIM textures you can probably get away with placing a few Texture Map nodes down and adjust the UV input for those textures to match their UDIM layout (So what you are doing is to squeeze each of the textures in UV space 0-1) There is some Maya API to…
Just finished with making a new Uv Layout for the lightmap. Finally decided to throw the cards on the table by posting some closeups from the tank and uploading the textures. The diffuse, spec and gloss textures are attached to this post. I hope I went the right way so far. If anyone notice things I have to…
Here is what typical topology for a race track looks like: If you have a specific terrain topology in mind, start with a rough out of the terrain. Then draw a spline on top for your track layout. Loft the spline and use the loft settings to control things like banking (if you feel it is necessary). Then it is just a matter…
