Starting this sketchbook with some practice for lighting and composition after marathon playing Dead Space 2. It's just various tubes and and grating copied in an array and then bent, with a swat officer model ( www.blendswap.com/blend/5711 ) made by Chaiwit Jarunyakorn. Critique is quite welcome.
Hello Everyone I'm modeling the Doomhammer for some practice in PBR materials I plan to try to make it looks as life like as possible I am just in the begginning modeling stages at the moment the next step is to take it into zbrush WIP shots
Hello Polycount! I recently made a .44 Magnum Revolver but decided to go back and texture it again for practice. This time I decided to ditch the stainless steel style and go with a black glossy look. All feedback is appreciated, thank you :)
Inspired by the Liveworkshop.com art panel I'm going to a workshop thread to get feedback and track my own progress. Ive never created a concept for myself so this is something I wanted to practice before modelling. Feedback super appreciated!
Hey guys I'm quite new to texturing. Been following Tim Bergholtz's tutorial on texturing the AKM and implemented that on my L96 sniper rifle... mainly for texturing practice. Here are my pics.. any critique/feedback would be really helpful.
I really like brinks style and i want to work for stylized games as a character artist. So, I decided sculpting a face from a brink concept and eventually using it as a practice piece for retoppo as well would be a good idea
Hello, So I decided to try and sculpt the character Ziggy as practice. This is how he looks: I think so far I am doing an okay job. Mostly the front and the bottom look odd. Can't find reference of neither.
I've got another question. The taillights in the model looks like they were added after subdividing the mesh, is that the case? like is it a normal practice to add details after subdivision when making models for real-time pupose?
Hey guys this is my first time here on polycount, I did this study of a plague doctor by Alexey Kruglov. The goal of this study was to practice understanding how to replicate 2D artwork into a 3D model. What would you guys add or remove? Thanks alot!
