I agree. THE LORAX. That book was so fucking awesome. Though, people might take it as a political message now days. Or maybe they could make a movie that contained a bunch of his shorter books? It'd have more than 1 book, and that'd be awesome.
Sorry to hear. Welcome to Polycount though, and thanks for sharing. I've moved your post from General Discussion to Career & Education, where you'll find many similar topics as yours, with lots of good replies containing key advice from experienced industry professionals. Also check the Sticky for more about motivation.…
Never just made a model just for posing, but for animation the final lowpolys are usually in a few groups: the base figure, boots and upperclothing, lowerclothing and accessories for example, just as long as the group contains no items that intersect for baking. The groups remain separate and are only united by the rig at…
After working with low poly and full scenes lately, I just wanted to do something really small and contained. So, for some reason the choice fell on the wheel from the Nintendo LABO vehicle kit =P https://www.artstation.com/artwork/L2xZYP The texturing was inspired a more by Overwatch tho. Here's a screengrab from Painter.
I guess this is a plan of yours to not be able to buy anything you want with gold hehe. Or at least sell gold to get Money. Btw I'm at the top of the FB highscore list at the moment. Woho ^_^ So my most wanted list contains... Turing Gold into money or an option to buy weapons like the golden slingshot for gold ^_^ Cheers!

IIRC, you need to open these files: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Material VMT files will contain your Gloss number, color, etc. just open them with a Text Editor. I know at one point Valve mentioned you could make and modify your own VMT files, but not sure if they still put in support for that.
I like most of the changes, but the current thread overview / Topic layout is FAR to tight. The bold thread title text and the tight spacing makes the titles appear as a wall of text and hard to read. A bit of space on the container of the thread titles will go a long way. Now to make the home screen rectangles all the…
OBJ files don't contain any kind of rigging, so you'll likely have to manually do this in a program of your choice (Maya, Max, Blender, etc). I've not used to DAZ Studio, but this might be a place to…
The results are no better with a Production build of the lighting. either. I'd really like to use a dynamic light as my sun so I can change the lighting over time... is there a better way to do that and i'm just missing something on the UDK documentation? The initial post contains the initial problem/question... how to fix…
