What zacD said. Crytek did a little tutorial for their Ce2 a while back: http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDOC3/Creating+Wrinkle+Maps Basic stuff should apply to other engines as well, pretty sure you can do that in UDK? (correct me if Im wrong)
Yeah that happened to my bro while he was playing Civilization IV on my PC. He didn't mind it, he just went on and on playing the game while it crawled up his neck. Can't help ya, it's alt-click on Photoshop 7 to CS2, that I'm sure of.
CS2 - resizes 100% of the time. Nice to see that it is fixed in CS3 though...;) And yeah, I've used browse before, but it is also miserably slow. Picasa does a much better preview job imo, i'll probably just switch to that....hopefully I can drag and drop into PS
i have *never crashed photoshop - from version 2 onwards - until the other week when i crashed cs2 twice on hitting ctrl-d to clear a selection while (i think) moving the wacom a distance. It was prefaced by the cursor dissapearing, and then hang watch out for it
I actually bought ZB2 on Monday to get the free upgrade, etc. I tried to pre-register but was told by support that my purchase was too recent to be in the database, but that they had input me manually into the list of upgrade recipients.... However, its now Friday and no e-mail. wtf!?
What does it look like in your 3d app? Make sure you have export normals enabled if exporting from max. Make sure to set the tangent space (in object properties) in TB2 to match where the normal map was baked.
I have 32 bit vista, and have no issues in CS2 or CS4 with lag of any sort. I use a lot of tools when doing paintings/vector work, or texture stuff...but haven't had any lag. Might be a resources issue?
This is correct. Keep in mind that you might lose your manual edits if you go back and change your dynamask. edit: also, should probably change the "Force Refresh 3DO" button's tooltip to 'Force refresh viewer", since it also refreshes your linked app (such as tb2).
Well I use physique for rigging, since I cba to learn skin at this point. I usually just rig half of the model though, then convert it to skin (plugin) and use skin's mirror function to mirror the weights. So yeah, what you're trying to do should be possible.
If you guys are using CS2 i've found that surface blur is probably one of the greatest inprovements to photoshop since 5.5. It does exactly what i believe it is your looking for. It'll keep areas with high contrast as edges and blur the area inbetween. Its totally awesome for bumpmaps.
