On Firefox, i get a 404 on the link with the blackslashes. Not really a big deal anyway. I got a little time to spend with Acropora, very powerful and speedy. I don't do a lot of environment work, but I think this would be a great tool for adding high frequency grunge type materials like corrosion. Going to play more later… -

Images include use of smilies, the vB code It would be nice if someone could fix this, i think maybe a limit of 100 or 200 smilies per post is a little more appropriate. -

of course what exactly intense lag and 'little bits of details' mean are open for interpretation but you can do 3D alright with something like an intel HD3/4000 (laptop iGPU's from 2011/12) which reach between 300-ish and 451 in that benchmark. not suitable for complex scenes but certainly not annoying to work with. -

Scott, thanks for the equipment pics, I have been playing around with a high poly Waffen SS trooper in fall camo and this will help immensely on the equipment. One thing Scott, the link to the 7.92x54mm Mauser ammunition pic doesn't work (goes to a 404). Great thread! -

Hi all, I have modeled a canon with roughly 19k tris and there where parts of the canon that had 3 on them (Smooth Preview), now when I applied smooth to the meshes that I had 3 on them i now have a count of 45k tris at lvl_1. Is there any way to get lower than that in terms of tris and still have that smoothness of that… -
