Hey @passerby, any reason this would work on my home machine (Maya 2016) but not my work machine (also Maya 2016)? It makes things round at home, but at work it just scales down the selected vertices, without rounding them.
I tried to re-create this problem but I have no issues with maya 2016 doing this. Are you using Maya 2016 SP6? Try and set your scale to meters and also bring up your clipping values on your Perspective camera.
Looks like Dictionary was introduced in Max 2017.1. The best you could do is install 2017, update it, use this startup script there, and then Save As 2016 format. To keep working in 2016. There is a know issue with groups in 3dsmax 2016 SP2 http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-3ds-max-design-general/3ds-max-2016-sp2-bug-with-group-ungroup-and-link-unlink/td-p/5956081 Service pack 3 does fix it maybe this is the problem?
