Can you cite an example of this? I know some of the character artists will do hard surface pieces for their characters in ZBrush but none of the environment/weapon/vehicle guys work in ZBrush (for detailing, yes, but not base modeling).
Yeah, if you attach an ffd after the fact, it will still inherit the changes you made to the lattice points. Wrap or wire deformer might work for what you need. Are you able to give a specific example?
im not a uni atm and cant remember lol but it still finds all of the other meshes the links are kind of bad example because ive since added a roof and an extra mesh on top of the wall and they work fine
hi, please can you show me an example of how to `log() inside MyPlayerController Class? i told you we suck at programming =_=.....this is our first attemps. we really appreciate your help^^
Yes. Be careful though, don't group too many in a long shape because you won't be able to efficiently cull and lod. Don't make the railing of the balcony around a whole building to be one mesh for example.
hey Aquilon you can easily find any better translator website, I use this for example http://dict.leo.org/ it works perfectly for me. Your work is very good, i like the design, whatever it is.
Those images actually show very similar artifacts, they're just less obvious. For example: near the Gatling gun mount, and on the transition from body to tail. Do you think this might help you?
^ very nice render indeed! If it's a fairly fast renderer then its worth a look. It appears to have some nice materials inside it too, that example definitely has some sort of SSS going, thanks for the link.
so how to get a rough idea about poly counts for various devices? For example if I want to make a car game, how many polys should the car have for 1) Mobile 2) PC?
Might as well cross post these from the Speed animating thread. Fiirst draft animations from a game project where I am responsible for animations and "lumpdesigns". Bonus example on one of the "popculture lumps" that will be in the game.
