Definitely looking good! I would suggest hyper focusing on line art. Don't bother with painting, fills, blurs etc. If you do, you'll be competing with SAI, Manga Studio, Illustrator etc. which have teams of developers. Stick with line art and REALLY polish it. Here's my update 3 weeks in, created placeholder textures for a few props just so they were identifiable and I could start placing them in the scene. For an individual asset, generally it is best to avoid too many intersections or floating elements, and instead merge everything together in the low poly. This may mean a slightly higher poly count, but it will be more efficient uvs (less space devoted to areas that are hidden inside intersections, etc) and less aliasing…
