All solid feedback I'd agree with as well. In addition, I'd say your camera isn't doing you any favors. It's swing around and translating without really being motivated. I'd strip all the motion out of it and just have it pan with the action at this stage. A good rule of thumb with camera moves is 'try to do it with one…
Axel Jones is your source? Yea that guy never jumps to delusional conclusions about fluoride, lizardmen, 9/11, staged mind control or the freemasons. I'm sure he's right about FEMA building concentration camps for "liberty loving citizens", anyday now the roundup is going to happen! Probably right after the lizard men…
If you're only using that brick texture once in your game, that seems fine. The mirror axis for the bricks does show a little seam, so you could move your UVs in a touch from the island edge to fix it. If you're using other assets that have the same bricks, you probably want to either move it to the corner and make it a…
You've got a hierarchical node above the object which has an awkward scale? For instance a group? It's very easy to recreate this dilemma. Make any new object in Maya, group it, scale the group along one axis. Now select the object and rotate it. Skeeeeeweeeeed.
You can't match the scale, using the Align tool, because the real scale of the two spheres are 100% by 3 axis. I know two scripts that can help you. The first is free and you can get here. The second is part of my Script Pack and it is commersial - you can find the link to it in my signature..
I think you'll find VOM pretty quick and easy to use right out of the box unlike the other options. It's pretty cheap too. Depending on what version of Max you're using you should be able to keep all the sound files and animations in the same scene. - 3dsmax 2008 and lower requires a 3rd party plug-in called SoundTrax to…
The bottom of the torso seems to be getting a bit long, which is only emphasized by the shortness of the legs. I'd pull the whole hip area up a bit, and make the hip area deeper (on the y axis) as they're looking a bit dinky now. After you make some of those adjustments you'll probably have to adjust arm length as well.
