This looks like it could be straight off of the packaging for a PS2! The texture on the thumbsticks is dead on, I can practically feel it. Mind if I ask how long a model this detailed too?
Had a good time modeling this one for practice, but painting it was a pain in the ass because I lost the paint layer a couple of times, but I think I caused it by merging subtools.
I started observing and creating different helmets, also different horns even but they did not convince me, practice drawing ornn many times and understand their anatomy to start with their armor
It's good practice to leave your question and supply the answer if you found it yourself - there are others out there that may have the same question, and your post could save them time :)
The advantage of having PDFs is that you can access them offline, which would sometimes be practical. On the downside is that you don't automatic see updates to the content, unless you redownload it.
No problem, thanks for the crit,BARDLER.Will take them to note while working on the next one.I definitely have to keep practicing. The room animation is actually an intro for my animation logo.
You don't have to do a T-pose then transpose if you were sculpting a dynamic pose for practice/fun If sculpting it in a pose is part of your learning process then don't remove it.
looking nice, massive textures, but you can see how detailed it is for it. would it not be good practice to come back to this and re-do the textures for a specific game engine? just a thought.
excellent resources fellas. Thanks for the directions. I've got a nice 4 week break from school coming up where I'll for sure put these techniques to practice. Cheers
