Hey mate, The bit about the "when I get it close to the tablet there is a blue rectangle on the desktop" means that it is actually in a state as if you have held Mouse0 down (left button on PCs). Maybe stuck the nib too deeep and the switch inside got stuck? Cheers...
Yep, that's exactly what you're suppose to do. I just was wondering if there's a quick and efficient way of doing it. Text Tools just seems to mess up the smoothing groups when I use the "Smoothing Groups From UV Shells" button. Thanks for the link though
Different eyes on my avatar....totatally possible...I just push my little export to 3dechange button and click on the avatar eye I want to detail... Then play around with the texture map until I get it right. Cha ching....gotta love this toolset
well thats a shame. if you have the same dynamesh resolution and havnt touched the mesh, even if you press the dynamesh button it wont update because its already "up to date". have you tried importing the model to another program and then back to zbrush again?
Wow thanks for the link, i read through and could'nt find out how to delite the old model from the project.... but i went to send a screenshot to a friend to show him what was wrong and accidentaly clicked the button and it worked. Dude 3D is so strange... XD
damn, you guys put my shit to shame. On an interesting note, there's a "reload" button in the bottom right, which will redraw what you've done up until that point. But while it's redrawing, you can still click with the brush, which really fucks shit up.
The highpoly is looking good and clean but some areas of the clothes feel a bit unfinished. You could try and sculpt in more seams, stitches and puckering around all edges of leather, as well as buttons and wear and tear effects. The wrinkles you already have are looking great!
going to necro this to add what I was looking for when I stumbled across it. Small script to set multiple objects selected the smoothing level (3 button) to a value of your choice. string $sel[]=`ls -sl`; for ($each in $sel) { setAttr ($each+".smoothLevel") 2; }
In toolbag2 you can select your mesh and then change the tangent space type to match whatever you baked with (you mentioned max and xNormal, we support both of these). Select the appropriate one, and if the issue persists, then check the "flip y" button in the materials normalmap drawer.
OK dokie thank you so much :) i can make gui boxes button etc and by pressing escape loading level i have done it but i didn't know about the showMyGUIBOX and yeah that will help me out :) thank you so much
