Hey again, Noors. Those functions will definitely come in handy. I just thought of it now, but I should also check if the "count" is greater than or equal to the width of the image, then go to the next line. As it is, the code is best for 32x32 sizes. You're awesome! Thanks again for your work; it really means a lot to…
Thats what i dont understand, there are no lights in the scene, made sure of that. As for XN, i got an error about ' Invalid function parameter 'msh' The mesh default has vertex UV indices but the count is not the same than the position vertex indices. please ensuren the mesh-> UVIndices.size() is ZERO or the same than the…
I would REALLY like a Discord channel Voice chat and chat is SO much easier on discord. I'd make it, but i'm not qualified to maintain something like that for this place. But Discord would be like combining google+ and slack into a nice functional package, well maybe slack more than google+ cause no screen sharing...
Welcome to Polycount :) Softimage Mod Tool is another good free 3d app to start with. Oh and Wings3D is supposed to be a pretty good modeler, it's free as well, though I haven't tried it personally. The built in search function here on Polycount isn't too hot, I like to use Google Site Search instead.
The textures themselves look great, although I do agree with the bit about the abdomen. Maybe you can enlighten me on the function of this sword? It also looks as if the handle of the sword has a slight 'S' shape and I'm curious if that was on purpose or just a mistake? And to be SUPER nit-picky, theres a seem in the wood…
i haven't tested this too much because it's a new feature, but if you have the latest zbrush update (r3) you could also try the "mirror and weld" function. you'll have to delete your lower subdivisions, mirror and weld, and then use "reconstruct subdiv" if you want your lower poly levels back.
slight derail (sorry) but afaik you cant re-map xXx+right click either.....I have a custom quad menu that I would like to just be right click but no joy....if anyone knows a way that doesn't involve overwriting the functions in the default right click menu then I am all ears.
Yep. I read Zbrush Character creation. Basically though, the secret to Zbrush is to understand how much to manipulate the level 1 or 2 mesh and build slowly up to the detail you'll put in at the higher subdivisions...just like Mudbox. Also, seriously look at ZRemesher and Dynamesh functions, and you'll be sculpting much…
I'll forward this to our SUITE programmer to see if we can look into this a bit further. You should be able to use no mesh inputs at all with DDO. In the meantime, you could create a plane and set its UVs to 0,1 so you can work with it in DDO, and then load it into the tool to see if that functions as a workaround for you.
Pretty groovy. Lighting and envirnment work was spectacular throughout. It all had a bit of the new Terminator vibe to the visuals (which was the part Salvation got right). Not a fan of the Star Wars style chase music. And I can't help wondering: just how rusty can an airship can get and still remain functional?
