Almost everyone missed this (cept crazyfool) The laugh line that runs from the side of the nose past the corner of the mouth is supposed to loop UNDERNEATH the chin. Not undernearth the mouth. There's a few other instances of how I do 'Crows Feet' Angry lines, and overall wrinkle topology that follow skinfold principals.
Mostly done on the painting - I noodled around on the bow for a long time, then changed the dress based on some suggestions. Instead of two ribbons I changed it to kind of like a long coat. On to rigging, but I'll probably do a final painting pass to fix any other issues that pop up.
Here's my bad Polycount advice: Shrink her head just a little. Fix the legs from the knee down (they bow inward in the posted pictures) Post a profile picture of the model; her spine looks to straight and it looks like she is leaning forward. It's hard to tell in the posted pics.
got it on wednesday i believe. extremely fun, though i really hate the respawn thing talbot mentioned. other than that, this game's epic. i especially love fighting the 'bosses'... though i guess they might be 'mini-bosses'. i hope more like this keep comming =D!
[ QUOTE ] Oh and here is another interesting semi related topic: http://www.igda.org/Forums/showthread.ph...mp;pagenumber=1 Discuss too [/ QUOTE ] That is no suprise. comming along good, i especially like that texture on the green part of the bug. One thing that hurts my eyes is that purple color, it goes ugly against the background and against that green part. Damn i hope you understand what i'm saying. Keep up the good work.
yeah thats cos alot of LOTR style is taken from viking/norse mythology i like it but yeah needs soem more detail, esp the super flat floors, add the odd health and safty risk paving stone and maybe bow the floors a bit and it will light alot better

I'd also recommend 3d Quakers max rigging dvd. http://3dquakers1.com/webroot5/review.php?id=9 And for maxscript, the help docs that come with 3ds max are good, but CGTalk has a lot of "real-world" examples that can help tremendously. http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=98
looks great...since it's a movie theater though put up some giant posters or maybe a giant painting on the back...it'd look call and get rid of the repeating texture problem...you could fill it up more with vents comming out from the walls and light fixtures too...
