seforin> I once dressed up as Mario quite a while back. My outfit didn't include a Question block, though. > Anyways, here's my Halloween costume of Devil Zukin from the DDR series...
Dem goggles! Also.. I like the idea of hanging lanterns/cages from her hat. Cant wait to see more. I'm still in the process of digitizing all my napkin and notepaper sketches. D:
Got Rayman Origins game for christmas--it's a fantastic CO-Op game that's had me and my wife in tears from laughing. You can tell the dev team definitely had fun making this title!
Maya excels at rigging and animating but it's modeling tools aren't quite as robust as other apps.
Thats an outdated info. Maya devs did a lot of progress last two years in the modeling area.
Agree with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, however it was not what got me started. I would have to give that to max payne 1 and 2 also the 3d mark software for having such awesome tech demos.
Damn that sucks, I really liked that texture you had going. Reminded me of Deus Ex. Looks like you're using milkshape, does it make a backup of your files like wings3D does?
if you didnt catch it on tv there is a high def version on ifilm, click the 720p link at the tip right of the window. you can go frame by frame on some of the cooler shots http://www.ifilm.com/presents/spiderman3
This is from a year ago, I wonder how much has changed? Might be time for a new thread on the topic. Which 3D apps the devs are using (the link might work, might not, depends on Gamespy's server)
Hehe, They even show him shooting a deer that is way off with a bow so it´s pretty retarded that they didn´t let him use that but hey, Maybe they didn´t use it for warfare. "Cowardly" and what not. :)
If you have a graphics card with S-video out, try plunking a TV on your desk and hooking it up as the 2nd monitor. Not as accurate as a dev kit, but you can see your work on it as you go.
