Thanks, most of my problems have been solved but I still have some artifacts, any help is appreciated. It might just be something I to need to practice more.
Thanks for the tips VianReps. I decided to go back to pencil with this one (per your suggestion). I'm looking into getting myself a copy of Greys Anatomy to further my practices.
Really excited to model this concept out. I hardly get away from modeling exterior environments. This is going to be great practice! I look forward to seeing everybody's work!
Yeah I know, it's a dilemma, but I just can't replace it with water. I neeeeed something 'good' to drink, and just drink warm drinks like coffee is just not practical.
I am going to change the grip to something a little bit more practical, work on the barrel and post up the concept. thanks all! the high res should be done today.
I've been doing more pencil drawing at home for practice. Then the other day at work I erased something on my Cintiq and blew at the screen to remove any eraser shavings....
Different people lead different lives which lead to them being exposed to 3D art earlier than others. They still have to spend a lot of time practicing regardless.
There is no secret trick really, just practice rendering. BoonS has a point, but you wont be able to fully utilize those techniques unless you know the fundamentals behind them.
Haven't sculpted for a while now. Here's a copy of a male bust found on google. I liked the proportions and pose. Just some practice. 3 hrs in Sculptris Alpha 6.
