You should search on youtube some 10 vs 7, there are a lot of good reviews with pros and cons. I use win 10 and i never had any troubles with it. Sure it has that force update but i had no problems so far and i use it for 2 years already.
Ahh breaking bad ;p Liking the direction your going so far. Sunglasses/Glasses might be cool but also might be too Walter White. Give him a watch/id and he cud be a cop/spy after a rough night. Looking forward to seeing where you take this
" I was told that 3d modeling for environments or props would not be a good career choice because of websites like turbosquid" Here a simple way to put this to the test. Buy a recent game (Watch Dogs 2, Dishonored 2, CoD), select a level of your choice ... and try to find the assets on Turbosquid.
What Teh Splatt and Ostraga pointed out. The ears do seem a little low even if it is stylised as it looks to be going in the direction of realistic based of your contributed reference images and I'm a little unsure to the path your taking with this now? Is it still a jester or more of a (la) noire cop character?
Loving those proportions @daphz. A bow probably wouldn't suit someone with such heavy armour, so I think a couple axes or short-swords would work well. A two-handed weapon such as a long-sword might look a bit too masculine. Keep up the great work folks!
Hey All, here is my current progress, I've decided to call this character Frankie! I'm signed up to Adam Skutt's Hair Creation class which starts tomorrow so the hair is coming! i'll share my progress with that in this thread also. The Bow is currently just a temp mesh.
I've been behind on the others a little bit, but trying to catch up this week. This is my progress so far, been blocking out and tweaking proportions at the Gamescom this week :awesome: Horns and color are totally placeholders. Next up, ribbons, bows and shoes. UUuuuu :) C&C many welcome!
Holy crap.....the bridge scene is feckin INCREDIBLE! The blue hooded dude is a badass :D Thought it would be Blur after seeing the level of quality in that cinematic. I especially shot 3:03-3:05 where he draws the bow was really well done, so realistic XO
took awhile to get the mechanics of the gun/interface in my head but its pretty fun for such a short dev time. congratz. also protip check the chamber after you load the gun. nothing like dying coz chambers empty or weapons jammed. i expect ill be playing this for a while.
http://p3d.in/FsLDb This website is awesome, threw last year's comic con model up there. The future is awesome! This great resource looks like it has spawned a string of amazing uploads on facebook also. So awesome to be able to rotate around other people's awesome work. Very inspiring.
