I wont go into tech here because I think something more general has a flaw here: the design of that armory. WIth the little red and blueish metal it has a little bit of mass effect but those red stribes on his shoulders and the arms are not to my liking - almost primitive shapes (like part of a tube). It does not connect…
Great idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYX9I3ONHc4#t=181 http://www.siliconstudio.co.jp/nex-gen/en/ I wonder if you could mix the above idea with this tech? http://www.nozon.com/PresenZ-VR-Movies
the model is nice and but the red, blue and green 255 (full r,g or b color) colors look uninspired- I´d change them sligthly just so that they dont match the full channel of each. Can´t explain why kinda the same way like picking any font but not times or arial.
@Isabel Hi! I think overall the model looks faithful to concept. The body of the vase could use some more segments (especially horizontally) so the silhouette doesn`t look too facetted (red marks). A convenient way to iterate on cylindric/tube-like shapes in Blender would be using the screw modifier with the profile. If…
Nice work!!! Which references are you using? Looking at the following picture there seems to be some missing pieces and others (red circles) don´t look the same size as the ones you have in the picture above. I understand that you are still working on it. Try to gather the much references as you can to understand the…
Hi people! I finally decided to make a polycount account. I'm looking for feedback on this character I'm working on. I hope to contribute to this community. Thanks in advance! Starting with the T-pose Some angled views Close up of the face Basic colors and pose And finally, here's my ref. Concept was made…
Hello. I been curious on what you should wear to an interview if your trying to get a job as a 3d artist? Parents, relatives, been telling me suit, tie etc.. Few others in the game field been tellin me its more layed back cool design T shirt would do?
Here dude I made an paint over for the face since u need more interesting forms in his face to make this character pop. Also u need to check more anatomy refs. And the last thing I would recommend that u dont sculpt the arms in T-pose since it will make everything harder for u.
I had a mansion model, but it was the first time I have been learning 3dsmax... Now I feel I can make a relatively complete mansion model... I've made evil resident's concept of animation... I think you should be interested... http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152757&highlight=resident+evil
Not a bad start. The ref pic you have should lend itself to your design well. Remember that his armor is sittin on top of a tight t shirt underneath. Keep thrownin up WIP shots as you progress with this. ps did you give him a Dr. Orpheus medallion thing? Bold choice if so, ha.
