Thanks Vig. Here is a quick sketch for and sci fi enviornment. I also practiced shading and figured out how to make a pencil brush and charcoal brush. Alex
Dont forget to pick up a pencil and draw from references similar to that head you are modeling. You'll hit something decent much faster that way, since you will know this face inside out before attempting to model it.
just get some pencils and sketch. @frell how is a sketchbook a handicap when you can take one somewhere a lot more inspiring than your desk, and pull it out anytime you got ideas following.
I'm not sure what you are after but maybe Pencil would be useful. Apparently it can be used for both vector and bitmap based animation. It can also export image sequences, and Flash SWFs. Best of all it's open source.
A wacom tablet with a vagina built in! Edit:..I'm sorry, my girlfriend is on a diet and she's been hungry and on edge all week and not in the mood for any kind of romance..... Pencils with erasers shaped like breasts!! ...again truly sorry
Got this original pencil Aliens storyboard in the mail last week and am planning to pick up 1 or 2 more ... It was made for the following shot of Ripley when she loads up and goes out alone to find Newt.
did i watch a different first Pirates of the Carribean film to everyone else? the one i saw was so mindnumbingly boring i started to jab my own eyes out with a pencil, just to engage my brain
Looks good Daz, yeah might lose the pencils, kinda seem thrown in but otherwise stellar................still think connery looks like a monkey don't anyone flame me... it's an inside joke. Connery looks awesome. DW
wow, intuos 4, i wonder how good will be respect the intuos 3. I own a intuos 3 a4 and it's nicer compared to intuos2 but nothing so good to draw as with a pencil (it's a bit laggy). 25-03-2009 ^^
Thanks for the tips VianReps. I decided to go back to pencil with this one (per your suggestion). I'm looking into getting myself a copy of Greys Anatomy to further my practices.
