Indeed, and realistically his character is awesome. I would rather see him in episodes as often as needed, rather than sparingly because of a huge cgi budget. -

You might want to consider watching Casshern as well, that movie defines Sci-Fi Epic! Some awesome fight scenes as well and really good CGI :) . -

The environments remind me of CGI from back in the early 90's. I think we'll see procedural texturing take off quicker than any of this stuff. -

I thought the opening ceremony was pretty terrible except for the forging of the rings and the queen/james bond bit (although the helicopter cgi film was quite bad in some places). -

This is now one of my favorite movies. CGI was some of the best I can remember. Easily the best movie I've seen on the big screen in quite some time.
