also same happens when i import from anywhere, did try sketchup, same thing, goes square reflections, but once i reduce opacity to 99%- model goes nicely smooth. anyone can explain me where is the problem pls?
Then read the paper please! And watch the videos...they are quite interesting! ;) It is one year old, running realtime on a 2 years old gpu and puts 99% of the offline character renders to shame. (Compared to what I've seen or created so far under the 'realism' cathegory...)
Gackt The Birthday Massacre Atreyu Buckethead - Jordan that's what ive been listening to 99% of the time lately. http://www.last.fm/user/snemmy kinda offset cause ive had Gackt playing 24hrs a day the past 3 or 4 days on my laptop.
[ QUOTE ] I hope to give to it mainly an interesting multiplayer mode rather than a single player. [/ QUOTE ] Aww, thats too bad. Today its like 99% games are multi, its so predictable, and what are people like me supposed to play in ?
[ QUOTE ] Mine still runs just fine and it was a launch unit. [/ QUOTE ] I bought mine on 9/9/99 (with my own money... I was only 14yo at the time, so it was kind of a bit deal to me. It was my first console that was all mine).
its a bit more than just a node based version of maya. its really more like a library of computational geometry and effects functions wrapped up in a node editor . I mean you can not use 99% of its capabilities and treat it like maya but it's not very good at that.
That's what I thought too, Pior. Communication is a little tricky, 99% of 3d printers seem to be in Poland? :D But I'm pretty sure they want me to combine things into as few meshes as possible, one single mesh if I want it printed as one piece. They sent this picture as an example...
I'm 99% sure those textures are just straight-up painted with no baking at all. I doubt they would even take the time to build geometry to bake off of anyway. The geo is most likely just a flat plane (or near flat), so there wouldn't be anything to bake from.
Yeah I think if Rage had no spec whatsoever it would be pretty obvious in every video shown! It would simply look off, since any specular highlight is view dependent ... I am 99% sure that a megatexture stamp holds at least diffuse, normals and greyscale spec ...
Holy hell. I wanted to do the same at work, but I think our office manager would literally kill me. Anyone else use the 20% off nDo2 code? I've scratched my chin over the $99 price tag for a while, so it was a no brainer for me.
