The first issue could be gamma. Try setting gamma to 1.0 before using Render To Texture, which has poor gamma support (it should convert color maps to 1.0 for baking the back to 2.2 for saving, but it doesn't). The second issue is padding, which is a good thing.
Trying my new char on Verold, made for the Mixamo Adventurer Challenge, but finished just now... Char with around 24k tris. 2048x2048 Body 512x512 Hair 512x512 Fur I'll try some renders on UDK (but its HARD!) and Marmoset. [VEROLD]52264e3a7de39a0200000801[/VEROLD]
Houdini Indie? $100K income limit, no resolution render limit for stills, 1080p limit for animations. $200 for a year. Very good renderer called Mantra + unlimited Mantra Tokens. http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=244&Itemid=399
OMG, i have to avoid hyping myself for DW this year. :P But damn you, i want it to start soon. I just need to fix the earths rotation so I get 32 h-day/nightcycles instead. :D stupid 24h-limits.
ok, another quote.. this one may be a bit paraphrased ( can't remember which room number it was, or how many bottles).. but should sound familar if you've seen the movie. "The couple in room 212 would like two bottles of champaign and one boy scout uniform."

Here's a video from my Youtube channel explaining FWVN in very simple terms. Also you can read through @obscura's thread here on the forums(which I point to in the video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kizs6RIa1dQ&t=243s
found out a strange thing today. when youre in the baker menue and show your bake (normals f.e) its shown witha gamma 2.2 curve aplied in the viewport. This could lead to wrong workflows.Just a strange behaviour compared to other packages ;-)
i blurred it out because its for work that im doing for someone. On the gamma point, why would it happen after I press viewport canvas and click on the diffuse layer that has my texture in it. ..I think my gamma is set 2.2
As the title says. Since I doing mostly handpainted stuff these days, I have not much need for it. Price is 550 USD. Since Zbrush costs $795 now, you would save whopping $245. Please note, it's a license for OSX. Not Windows. Contact me directly at mail(at)juicyvitamin.net if interested.
