Hey thx Jeff! The hair is literally the fiber mesh groups generated inside Zbrush (as planes) and exported straight in marmoset. Since Zbrush auto UV them, it was pretty easy to apply a soft gradient ramp for opacity a play a little bit with some color variation (roots VS tips).
I know you're not gonna like this, but I think you are wrong here. Anatomy is ROOTED in the skeleton. The amount you will learn and grow from knowing the skeleton and then adjusting it and using that to inform your muscle and flesh anatomy will be by leaps and bounds over just doing "outside- in" sculpts over and over.
The mnu file are located here: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\2009 - 32bit\enu\UI, not in max root directory So, when you on other PC try to load all mnu's and other files. Then close max and run it again.
The Robo Recall windows are all done this way. That's how I learned how to do it from there. Their material has a lot of extra stuff that you'll have to get rid of, but it works fine. You can download their full project from the Epic Launcher. I even "ported" it to Unity and used it there.
I've been refining the design some and decided to focus a lot more on the roots and remove the wires around the limbs. I'm working on the sculpt some more and the low poly is mostly done. Next, onto the leaves and texturing. I'm still looking for critiques if anyone would like to offer some.
@throttlekitty is correct, importing by drag n' drop will add a namespace with the filename each time. You can merge them with the Namespace Editor, and then in the future use File > Import rather than drag n' drop. This will give you additional namespace options which include merging with the root on import.
Just completed my first ward! Concept was by Allison Theus and animations by Nicholas McBride http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=505414741 Also, I've started livestreaming again at http://www.twitch.tv/organized__chaos/profile/ if anyone wants to follow me. I'm currently working on a Necro set with Robo!
I've been using this custom interface, and I must say I like it way better. Less crap in the way and now you have all your brush types on the top toolbar. Super Clean Interface Just backup your old UICustom.cfg in your zbrush2 root, and replace it with this.
Much like Maya/Max, is there any way I can create my own splash screen image, put it somewhere and thus replace the original one? I love giving apps in my PC some personal looks. Tried putting a new splash.bmp in the root folder, but nothing changed. If this is possible, what's the place and dimension of the image needed?
Hey there. I'm trying to make a surreal horror game that goes back to the roots of Silent Hill and Resident Evil. If you have some models of furniture already made, or if you're looking to get credit for being a modeler in a video game, please email me at convolution223@gmail.com Any house furniture would be appreciated.…
