The sad story is, indie devs will actually be a LARGE part of the industry, once they get sponsored by Bungie...stupid FPS nuts and their all war libido...I mean honestly, the exposure one gets under Bungies flag will be huge.
Been on the beta for a long time and this is about as excited as I've been about Max's future in a long time. We have a fantastic dev team. Please don't mention XBR...... I felt a shiver down my spine....
Hey guys, Couldn't finish the contest due to my new job, relocating + holidays, but here are the Sculpts made for the Turret and the Creep den. Will try to get them textured when time will be found ( soon ) haha. Happy holidays :)
Just above this post is a stickied post, linked here: Sticky: FAQ: How u model dem shapes? Hands-on mini-tuts for mechanical sub-d AKA ADD MORE GEO Also, be specific and post pictures.
I was SOOOO excited when I saw this. Then I saw that it's coming in December, and for a second thought "Oh fuck! It's December now! Maybe it's out next week and I missed it?" Then I realized it's Dec. 2012 and got sad...
Vipera - Sorry for long delay, we´ve been looking in to this quite heavily, we´ve passed it on to the dev team and they are looking in to it. Seems like this is a bug of some sort, so we´re very thankful that you reported it!
Nice I love period based work. This is looking good so far. I would def add some dirt and information to those emissive lights. Maybe darken the edges the further it gets away from the bulb.
Thanks for the critique MM :) . Faces/hands/feet are def my weak points, I'm trying to learn more by traditionally drawing them to increase my knowledge than go at it again by sculpting. Still a long ways to go :)
the earlier shots were def more pretty - it was very pretty, in fact little deflated now, 'morning-after' alright.. everybody's passed out, the buzz has gone down, suddenly the women rn't so pretty, etc. :\
I was afraid of that. It's a feature that has been requested, but the Octane dev team said they wouldn't be putting it in until maybe V3 through some kind of OSL implementation. Thanks for trying Nicolas. I'll give the complicated setup a try.
