So I've started on something new, for practicing baking and texturing skills. This is the concept, sadly couldn't find the author of it: And here's my progress so far: [Edit: concept artist ]
Your first image isn't showing up. In short, this sort of work comes down the art fundamentals. Draw, paint, practice like a mad man and you'll improve in this area.
Heh. I thought it was just people still making the same test from last year, just for practice. Now I understand why a lot of these suddenly popped up.
cool stuff, really like your Marvel dudes :) great poses and movement on the one with the fighting heroines. Great that your practicing hands, which are hard to draw. Keep it up! :)
cheiras a pure !!!! instead of re-baking you can use Xnormal object to tangent space converter, gives great results and there isnt practically any lowpoly shading artifact !
omfg. That guy is rediculously good with a yo-yo. I never knew there was a yo-yo championship... but I guess there isn't much that surprises me these days, people will practice at anything.
Whao, I'm not even really involved in this thread but that is all some really useful stuff for character design in general. You could practically write a tutorial on the stuff. Good stuff!
