what do you mean by sensible spline guide? I tried it with some splines but wasnt so happy with the result. The curles are to edgy and not realy round and smooth. btw i also tried this http://www.3dtotal.com/admin/new_cropper/tutorial_content_images/2123_tid_8a.jpg once and the outcome wasnt smooth either. Yeah that's basically it. Although I would recommend you make individual meshes in Max, but do all the assembly in Unity, including starting the Terrain from nothing. If you've done a bunch of work already, you can import that, then continue editing terrain in Unity. I have some links for creating Unity terrains.… -
