Thx Mezz and wake for your good advice, it will help me out in the near future :) I would like to show you guy's some of my work but it seem that i cant find my camera at the moment :poly122:
In the future, don't use other game art as your main source of reference, just use actual human anatomy and other pictures of boxers. As brilliant as the art might be, its always better to work from the real thing.
I didn't find Fatal Inertia all that hot looking for next gen either http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/749/749967/imgs_1.html but hey, every console needs a future hover car race game.
@claydough Thanks for the link :) I hadn't seen any of those id developer videos before. Very cool tech going on there. I can't wait to get my hands on it, hopefully Rage is not too far off in the future.
Wow! what a time saver, thanks MoP! Export is an awesome addition as well. If I might humbly suggest ASE as a future export type all us environment artists doing UE3 stuff would be very happy.
A humorously written and useful link. Thanks, it will help quite a bit not only for my current problem but for all future design efforts as well. Anyone clicking in here to find a solution to this problem, I suggest you read this article!
Is this possible from ue4? edit: From the research I have done, there is a gitf built in plugin for ue4. Also found this: https://github.com/code4game/glTFForUE4 But these plugins only handle import. I don't think there is any exporter from ue4 in this file format. Hope that changes in the future.
Hi, I have been working on learning anatomy and character modeling this year with hopes of getting a job in the future. This character is heavily influenced by Kevin Lanning's modeling and is a work in progress. I was looking to fit this guy into the Gears of War Universe. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you. Brandon
