I think one of the main reasons why the mouth may look weird is because when the lower lip ends where the upper lip continues. Also you haven't put the in the yellow lined areas MM showed you, that visible crease always flows from just above the nostrils whereas yours reaches the bottom of the nostrils.
I cheated and put a full screen capture from 3dsmax overtop: Another way to think about it is 4 25" 1080p displays as one continuous surface. If I want to look at reference material or watch something wile I work I use the windows key + arrows for tile management and keep 3dsmax on just half the screen.
A little more progress over the weekend. Did some accessories and eyes I was planning to go full body but I decided to focus more Still some work to do on the highpoly, and after I need to rework the lowpoly on maya, rebake everything, continue the work with hair and start painting the maps Seams like it will take more…

Oh thank god... :D Just imagine Cole doing all of Charlie Sheen's "greatest hits" Wow. That would be horrible. But in a kinda funny way, now that I think about it. And I will continue to "hate" on the Cole Train for as long as I have to deal with him ;) I can't mute the tv fast enough when he comes on screen.
it's 1 mesh per spline loft actor. But if you connect multiple spline loft actors together it stitches them together to make a continuous surface. Think of each actor as being a single control point on a spline. For example; to make a half circle you'd need 3 spline loft actors. This would make two copies of the assigned…
The big downside to keep in mind is that it is much slower to calculate compared to dynamesh, which can seem near instantaneous at times. If that's the speed you're looking for, you're going to be better off cutting the hands off, continuing to block out and dynamesh the rest of the body, and then do a final…
I've started breaking down the scene into pieces and planning what textures/unique meshes to use. Due to the buildings being different sizes and shapes I'm covering most of it with tileable textures. I will be adding to this image as I continue to analyse each piece of the image. Also thanks for the feedback on the…
Ah, just looked into the T&C's of the beta and it looks like I am under NDA not surprisingly so unfortunately I can't say a lot about the game itself. I'll just say this though, if you've been excited about it since seeing the trailer, then continue to be excited because even at this stage of the beta, it's shaping up to…
your DOF is way too strong, I like the scratches on the stars but they should continue and scratch the green paint too and what are the black puddles? oil? lol right now it looks like the jeep is half cow it's getting there though! : ) oh try rotating one of the seats, the texture is obviously repeated, flip it or somehow…
