Textures are looking okay, I think you could push contrast and hue-variation a bit more however. The edges of the barrel-planks are awkward too, have a look at this image to a get a sense of how these endings ought to look: Also, run the sharpen function a few times on your gold-coin texture - it's looking a bit blurry.
Interesting design for a starship. I like how it appears functional while looking retro futuristic. I don't really have any idea what else to call it, lots of curves and finned sections. Please post more of your sci-fi work here, polycount doesn't have enough spaceships, it's a untapped market. :]
Where is the issue you're experiencing in the video? Like, what time frame? I didn't see anything unusual but I was admittedly skipping through looking specifically for 3DO causing trouble. :) 3DO only functions correctly with a dedicated GPU. Be sure to set your GPU to be either on all the time or to turn on when 3DO2.exe…
Nice mooodlin :) Im not really feeling on the keychain on the laser pointer. I feel if someone was going to geri-rig something like that, they would pull that part off because it would get caught in all the mechanisms and whatnot. It does add visual interest though- maybe swap it out for some sort of functional looking…
Its a gross over exaggeration. When updating you can turn off most of the data sharing stuff, which they show in the picture as having an OFF function. For google and apple, this is all pretty much the norm right now. It would be nice if microsoft did respond and clarify a lot of that though just to put people at ease.
Fascinating. I knew a grayscale map could be used to control specular highlight intensity, but I didn't know RGB values in a spec map could be used to control the highlight color. Is that an industry standard feature for all game engines and modeling programs, or is that a unique function to a specific program? Learn…
Looks like its display setup is currently not compatible with Virtual Box. Also had issues even attempting to open a console (keyboard entry would not work after hitting ctl function number). Sorry Valve, I am not going to install this unto a real machine till I see whats up with it through a Virtual.
Okay, I'll try this out. Kaionluong: This is just a personal aesthetic thing, but that costume looks really uncomfortable - particularly that strap going through the breasts. I can't see a woman wearing it outside of a specific fetish environment. Like I said, it's not a mistake per se, but I feel semi-functional costumes…
Hey number 2 is nice because it has the best silhouette of negative and positive shapes. Sure it doesn't make that much sense but its the most interesting for the eye. Strands of leather that hold it together would add a little bit more functionality and probably make it even more appealing. Cant wait to see that one…
Agree with bob. Think about holding your gun. Is it going to be comfy/practical? Think about the functions of a gun too. I don't see an ejection port, and no way of taking it apart for maintenance. I like the design though. I think that inclining the rear grip like on an sa80 would also make it feel less planar.
