It works for me in 2016.5. And also in 2017. Whoever made that script is really terrible at writing installation instructions. Is your script in the right location? Mine works in this location: C:\Users\{your name})\Documents\maya\{version}\prefs\scripts
Ill take another render, with standard Focal length. I changed the camera focal length so I could capture the entire room. But yes you are right the room does way too big. Ill get on that and fix it.
He's got a point tho, location is posted on nearly every job, and with people from all over the world, it is common practice to at least put the continent you company is located in. It will save lots of un necessary posts like this one!
JasonLavoie: On the Gunnar page, click "Retailers" at the top. On the Retailers page, on the right hand side, there is an "Enter your Location" area with a drop down at the bottom. By default, the drop-down says "All Locations" If you pull it down. there is a Prescription selection.
I would be nice to add a bit of composition on it. From what I see, there's no focal point yet. I would adding a mountain on the left, inclined to the main focal point (which is between the flag and the big rock). Good luck! :)
Well yes absolutely, just go under C:/Users\***youruserID***\Documents\maya and *.zip everything in this folder. To reload it unpack it at the same exact location and order you picked it at first. Hotkeys file is located in the pref folder and is named "userHotkeys.mel"
Looks like you already answered your question? No difference if object local XYZ axis look to same direction /aligned to world axis . So just make sure your object has no rotation in world space before baking it . Substance designer does re-bake properly from a world space having Y (green) up . Maya style I am guessing.…
Thanks guys :D Much appreciated; I have to do 6 different locations so each one is for a different location (6+7 are for the same place cos I'm not sure where to go with this yet).
Thanks man now I understand! Still I can't get the right way to parent constraint well the character's arm and leg Should it be something like this? Bone constrained to locator, locator parented to handle?
Amazing work so far :) but needs one focal point, maybe at the back instead of the shutters type door, have a really sexy sci-fi door that draws the eye in and creates a focal point for the scene.
