Hello I'm working on an optoelectric night vision post process shader, its pretty cool and stuff but it has some ugly hacks none of the atmosphere nodes in the material editor that I've found give me all the elements of the sky so I'm masking and boosting the basecolor luminance based on the overall sky luminance and it…
Fixed the images, thanks Eric And thanks!!! It's a spirit based stain and then a two part epoxy lacquer. I do one coat thinned with epoxy thinner to penetrate the wood as a base coat and that seals in the stain, then a second coat full strength which gives that glassy sheen and really protects the wood from the elements…
Hi! I agree about adding more color. Adding painted doors, window frames + shutters (different owner, different colors) would be another opportunity to add some color. Some wood elements appear very dark. And some vertical gradient on the bottom of the facades would be nice, from weather hitting this area directly and dirt…
Hello Guys! I decided to join this challenge too and I'm very happy being here! I choose blade nare by Q - peng, however all the concepts are great <3 This time I've started from low-poly elements in Blender and here they are: Next time I'll show you vampire girl :) Another screen, this time a girl:
Showing some progress on the Ranger :) I wanted to make sure everything looked right so I did a quick polypaint on the dyanmesh model Since then I'm working on the suit in Marvelous Designer, here is a screenshot of the top part. I created base for the other parts but I wanted to experiment first on one element. C&C are…
Thanks for the comments guys, two mentions of the blood is enough for me, I'm dropping it. @ ajr2764 : I'm in the process of blocking in some elements to make the arm more relevent to the scene. @ jabail : are you talking about the floor at the very base of the walls or the stuff in the middle? I'll post an update when I…
Slum: not only the obvious elements, but his lack of depth gives the appearance that his seagulls are the size of a Toruk. Where's Sully when you need him? Oh wait, there's his bitch banshee in the corner that he ditched to become Toruk Makto. Now that he's taken from Brink, I'll be waiting for some Avatar rip offs…
I saw someone else commented elsewhere so I didn't say it, but same feelings. Too much red. No Horns. I think it deviates too much for Riki. It's too much 'Heavy Metal' the movie imo. I think you could keep the same elements to a degree but tie them into a palette that is closer to his original.
