uncharted looks pretty rad, not that into 3D, but the tech thats lets 2 players play at the same time and see 2 different things is awesome, no more splitscreen. -

He's just saying: 0 masks = 1 material 1 mask = 2 materials 2 masks = 3 materials etc. -

weave generator is the obvious starting point if you're wanting to recreate the woven part. i'm pretty sure it supports a 2 over 2 pattern
