Hi, I need to simulate a bullet impact on a bullet proof glass but I can't find any info online on how to approach this task, all info I find is about rendering impacts on normal glass. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Thank you very much in advance.
Thanks Obscura. So all those talks about how U5 is gonna be all hires models through keeping hires meshes in floating point images and no normal map necessary is not about vector displacement ?
For my mentorship project at Think Tank Training Center,I'm working on human face evolution . For this project I've used 3D scanned skulls as my reference.
@Cglewis Are we talking about the most recent work here http://polycount.com/discussion/comment/2420716#Comment_2420716 or the WIP from artstation? Completely legit feedback either way. Thanks so far guys!
THANK YOU so much for sparing the time. You have no idea how long I have been searching the net for some ideas. probably over 18 hrs. Much appreciated. Really is. (Danke.)
Thanks for the input guys, I will definitely look at talking his tech down a notch. I may actually use this theme as a bounty hunter set instead as I think that may be more lore friendly.
Sh....... I don't..... I can't.... I can't even come close to that first model. Now this is what I am talking about ! Thanks mate these models will really help to explain the event later.
Thanks so much for posting wires dude! Awesome to see! Can you talk more about how you did like the swirly bits? and the beige curved bits? Any insight would be great!
Good point, I hadn't considered that, but are you talking about the skirt chains? Or the chains on the knife? Or both? In hindsight it would have been better it seems to go big on the geo for the knife chains. Thanks, for the crit!
Learned alot by my mistakes during the project, got more ideas on how to start a project and waste lesser time in unproductive tasks. Thanks Project Anarchy for the contest. Had Fun :) Good Luck everyone.
