Nice start! I'm liking the forms, it looks a like two semi-sentient trees guarding or worshiping the throne (maybe even wanting to sit there as their roots are so light on the ground). There's a lot of life and 'movement' in those tree-like sculpts, very cool :)
Yay! Update! Here are some hairstyles designs for Orianna. I like short hair or some updos. Maybe with an exotic hair color (like pink or blue) or white hair with black roots would be fine. Need to do a test color soon :#
[ QUOTE ] Julius: That sounds kinda polish... [/ QUOTE ] My last name is from that area, but thats about it... no other polish roots as far as I know. In case you wonder, Krischan is a pretty uncommon (but sometimes used in northern Germany) form of 'Christian'.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Length function is not available on the iOS, so they would need to calculate it manually? IIRC, this is how it would be; Length = Square Root (X^2 + Y^2 + Z^2) Correct me if I'm wrong.
danr: I'm in the US so I hardly ever see him. Sal: so why post? ;-) Of course it's bloody corny. That's the point. I grew up with it. It has a deep rooted affection in the hearts of the British public. Cult status I guess.
mhh yes this could be a problem, right now you could only delete the xml file. should be same root where the mesh file is loaded ( same name but with xml as extension ). will think about a solution to ignore the mesh settings and favour the global ones.
Good improvement on the texture! i would rework it a bit just to blend all the color together a little bit better, The knee looks a bit off too:) Good work, you should add some highlight in the hair, and darker color for the root for exemple !
Please do remember that Mari's strongpoint is that it's optimized for and rooted in the VFX business. It handles 8 uv islands with 8k maps at the same time without any problem. It's a godsend for guys working with very high-end 3d. I actually believe that it was created at WETA
Awesome, nice to see all these excellent pieces start to come together. On-top of what the others have said. In your sunflower texture, try adding a bit of a gradient to the stalk so it's darker towards the bottom, it should help "root" them to the ground better.
@EtotheRic : it might be unwise to advise someone against a specific tool (perfectly capable of performing the task at hand) without letting him/her the chance to evaluate it first. Zbrush has a huge market share, but it is far from perfect and has deep rooted issues.
