my humble 2 cents: i hear this at least once a week in the studio: "the polycount doesn't matter, it's all about the number of draw calls" just make it look pretty without being completely wasteful.
Looking at the market stand, I noticed a render without "shaders", personally I would dump that image and replace it with one showing off your normals and ao bake. Just a little two cents from a noob.
I doubt centaur needs to swing their hands that much went trotting because all movements are happening down below. Just have the arms hanging by the side and add some follow through. My 2 cents. :)
Hey man. Is this supposed to be stylized or a likeness? Right now i feel like its somewhere in between. You should either go full likeness i full stylized. My two cents. Keep it up.
I personally prefer Eat3d tuts. I have always learned a considerable amount with them. To be honest I learned more from those DVD's then I have from school. Just my two cents.
i like the way this is going, i dig his attitude. If I may throw my 2 cents in, the cloth needs a lot of work, and you could push his silhouette some more. looking good!
My 2 cents, really nice chap you choose and by your sketches seems the 3D silouhette is not catching what you draw. Just some quick feedback I hope you can find it ouseful
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2010/05/humble-bundle-gives-pirates-what-they-want-gets-ripped-off.ars you could literally pay just one cent for the package, yet people still pirate it?
Decided to continue working on this beast. Thread is here, in case you wonna drop your 2 cents: http://polycount.com/discussion/173636/kriss-vector-realtime-next-gen-weapon#latest Screenie (but majorly cropped):
I thought it was an absolute waste of time. I'm a huge fan of both Gaiman and McKean, but that movie was drivel. Had a few interesting visuals though, for sure. But I would say as the experiement that it was, it was a total failure. two cents.
