@MorbidPandaUK Hey thanks for the crit! Definently can work on the transitions between his different body parts. The idea was to give the idea that he was fat but lost lots of weight very quickly, hence the saggy pouches. I'll try and work with those forms a bit better. Pronouncing the jaw is a good shout lacks bones right…
models look nice, especially the chick. textures are what could use most improvement. materials don't look very defined, especially their specularity. the vespa guy also looks a bit clean, he has few stains but clothes seem really fresh anyway. leather elements could use some edge wear.
Fun concept. Face needs anatomy help. Several smaller elements and bony landmarks have been missed. Color zone is monotonous across the skin. Lips don't curve around the face and indent at the sides. The eyes are oval. No sternocledoid mastoid defined. Do you have an evenly lit turn around of the head sculpt?
I want to know if the touch ability's would be good enough to replace the need for the buttons. I keep looking at the bamboo fun ($200) and the Intuos4 med ($350). I'm unsure what to get for home... Correction the bamboo still has 4 user defined buttons. I think i'll give the bamboo fun a go.
I was not happy with how cast metal looked on hull, so went back and re-sculpted it from scratch. Also remade some welds and added some damage marks here and there. Still need to define all rolled metal parts and sculpt some edge wear/tear to break up straight lines on some of parts.
Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've had a busy few weeks at work and also been retopoing and baking so not much to show until now. Started adding to the textures and defining the materials. I recently bought Marmoset Toolbag do still trying things out with the render, I'd love some feedback.
I'm having the exact same problem, the script is looking for the image on the drive F that i even don't have. I've tried to look into the script ms and ini files for where could that path be defined to fix it, but no luck. Edit: fixed it, it happens because i had this max scene on another computer, and it was looking for…
Anatomy looks great! Face looks pretty good with character aswell. Not sure what his costume is made of though....Its like you made a naked man and then quick made him into gordon :P Depending on the material type, you could go in and harden some areas, smooth out areas, define the materialsbetter, etc
i understand that, i guess i'm terrible at explaining things. thing i was hoping for is a script out there that does the pelt mapping for you once you define seams and automates the process of pelt mapping for each uv shell. so you wouldn't have to grow selection to seams and hit pelt everytime for each individual shell.
You just need to render out the diffuse map of the lowpoly object while the highpoly has the textures assigned :) . But, if you want to render textures from one uv layer to another you need to define a second one and choose another target layer in die render to texture settings. Edidiot: ahh you already solved it.
