Wow that's pretty impressive. So why is the price difference so major between the two types? On Amazon it's listed as $472 and $279, a $193 difference for just one inch? Or is there something else I'm missing? Cause otherwise the 23" one goes on my buy-list. -

Got help from Kristof Lovas for an issue with the fish mouth clipping through water, technical thread here: http://polycount.com/discussion/194623/solved-inside-the-fishs-mouth-custom-depth#latest Since it was so stylized, ended up just using a simple alpha texture for the ripples. - Game Art schools get to much of the blame for students who don't make it. Its not completely the fault of the school that you did the absolute bare minimum on your projects while spending all your time drinking/playing video games instead of focusing on your craft. - I dislike Early Access Games, they are just unfinished… -

You are really missing with the textures. The diffuse looks ok, but the spec/gloss is what is really bringing your textures down. This is some really top notch work being posted here! Keep it up dude, loving some of those scenes. As for that last pic, you need to make some of the vegetation planes face outward, i get the feeling most of the are pointing up. Also, all the normals should be pointing away from the tree, for a more smooth effect. I… -

Playing Banjo-Kazooie back in 1998. I remember exactly where in the game, i said to myself : that's what i want to do. I really like Rare stuff. I'm more in "serious" game industry now though.
