Added his Jurassic World shirt and vest and started sculpting the initial wrinkles and textures of the clothing. Also tweaked his face for more likeness and added some subtle skin texture. Next step - buttons and pockets. And finish off the hair, of course.
Ace is correct! Just click the alpha test button, and that should work. According to the mask document, it should be stored inside the diffuse alpha. That's how it is in my shader anyways :) Some models might have it in the normal map alpha... if that's the case, move it to the diffuse.
It´s the texeldensity that is off, all those squares is a 2048x2048 texture that is tiling :) If you click the reimport inputs button on the DDO window you can change it there, what resolution are your textures in? if they are 4096x4096 i suggest you start with a texteldensity of maybe 2048.
You should see if you can embed the images directly in your posts. Right now, we have to download manually them one-by-one before we can see them. Look for the "Attach Image/File" button in the editing toolbar.
Not bad. Personal preference-can't stand pop ups. Some people have them blocked. Also, back and next buttons would be nice, so I dont have to keep shutting windows and opening others to see all your work.
A stab Oxy- in ued's Ani browser go into view bone mode, toggle the ref pose button. If the bone in queston is flipping axes or moving you may have to re-digest all your animations (pain in the ass I know) with ActorX.
hallucination most likely. It is easy to break symmetry in zbrush when using the transpose gizmo. For this reason, I customize the UI and put the symmetry button front and center on the top bar, so I can always see when I got it on or off.
I gatta say that I wasn't a fan, never played any of them...and I don't like button smashers...but I dunno, I'm definitely picking this up...it looked hella fun to me. Probably all the blood and ripping of horns, lol.
dynamesh wont work on a flat model correctly, it will try and make it a solid volume. if you would of made the plane a box instead it would have worked much better. i always hit the fill holes button before dynamesh just encase.
Hi Sam, color customization for Quad Menus is under Customize > Customize User Interface... then under tab Quads, button Advanced Options on the lower right of the panel. There you can find everything related to Quads appearance. EDIT: Pior was faster :D
