2 steps generally... create the 3d objects and render them (need a 3d modeler/renderer for this), then composite the rendered images with the video footage (a video editing tool, ala After Effects or Combustion). Then a lot of tweaking back and forth between the two.
aah he looks creapy! was that intentional? The ribs are drawn in too obvious and also in the wrong direction. He also looks a bit pixilerated becouse of all the veigns. I like the main idea! keep working on it! The folds in his crotch are great!
Aah....so i bothered with these ""ngons"" for nothing :D :D but thanks. :) good to know, i was affraid if it could have some affect on a bake..or something aand yes. of course you don't have chamfered edges on Low poly :D
aaw painful- I had tendonitus in my right forearm/hand a couple of times, ended up wearing a tubagrip support which seemed to help. hope you can get it sorted before there's any long term damage dude :)
Here's some shots of a Stryker ICV I made for my final semester at AAU. Looking to get some insights into how I could improve going forward here, and tips for anything that might help on future projects of a similar aesthetic. Further details about the project can be seen at my site, www.JoshRife3D.com. Thanks PC!!
Great tech/art, as is to be expected. But at the same time, isn't it still taking place on Mars, aka the red planet? Where's the red? Its all so blue and silver, like any other generic sci-fi movie that takes place on earth :(
Depends, consult your thesaurus too much and you'll come off as a pretentious douche, just be natural. (my quip above was exaggerated for the purpose of comedy) So, any game ever with any competitive edge to it? aka, any game ever? :P
sorry can i just check when you said light maps my question was refering to light mass and baking the light in UDK not when producing a light map AKA AO bake is this what you were also refering to Jacky ?
aah ja :) Kanske ska göra en enkel karaktär med highpoly och allt tjafs. Here's a character I've started for fun :) Dunno if I'll get to finish him though, maybe some day! Back to 2D for a while now :)
Aah....well it sounds like and please correct me if I'm off base, is that you're more interested in crafting experiences for the audience but not necessarily the art creation side? now if indeed the case a possible topic/idea for further research might be Games Writer?
