can you give any specs on these? as said the color seems a bit limited (even for me! ) but even so it is very freakin sweet. the tongue creature is quite cool, well wht am i saying, they all are!
the metal isnt very convincing, looks more like concrete with the spec cranked up. tone down the normal bump on the metal a bit, it looks like its been coroded after sitting in the ocean for a few years
What are the system specs for this? Hey Nick, could out old Castaway Machines run this? I am very interested, especially if it allows custom content generation. My Friend Doug is even more interested. Scott
Depends on the system specs and art style you're targeting, as well as how large it'll be on screen. In general though just pay attention to the silhouette. if triangles don't help with the silhouette or baking, then they're probably not necessary.
Apparently, my PC spec meets all the recommend requirements from SP 2019. In reality, it is extremely slow when working with slightly large project and complex materials(example: materials from Substance Source)
It'd be nice to see the spec maps on your textures too! Fantastic work overall. Do you have experience with shaders and texture blending? If so, maybe showcase that too at the bottom of your texture page.
Thanks guys will have a look at those, not had any luck with power managment etc so far though. My specs are GTX 970, 16GB RAM, i5 4670K, Windows 10 up to date.
Yea there are primarily three 'hand painted' styles: -Diffuse only without highpoly -Diffuse only with highpoly baked in -Diffuse as focus with normal/spec/etc. for additional effects like shadows (Guilty Gear Xrd)
This made me happy lol. I second the creepier more dramatic lighting. The corridor is solid. I would say maybe the wires feel too noisy but that mite just be because of the super glossy spec.
I love the texturing style in Infinite. Do you guys just throw in random colors into your spec maps? That is what it seemed like while I was playing the game, or is there something else going on in the shader?
