badass i remember back in the day there was an ongoing metroid comic in a couple issues of nintendo power and there were other men wearing samus like suits but more bulkier and blue, very cool looking. oh because its android heh
The Metroid power armour proportions have always been a bit strange. She'd have to have enormously broad shoulders to fit into it properly. Perhaps if you're doing your own redesign you could make the armour more anatomically correct.
oh wow I never even realised Im the same I keep thinking the back of the ship is the front, it just looks more powerful and imposing in that direction. I mean theres no friction in space so aerodynamics arent too important.
"Suiting up" and simple aren't two terms that go happily together when animation is involved. I suppose it depends on how exactly he dons his power armour, but that could potentially be a really difficult thing to get looking decent.
High end games on consoles are bound to be replaced with high end games on the mobile devices, especially with each generation of mobiles becoming increasingly powerful; but having low spec workflow knowledge is never a bad thing. Just my 0.02$ ofcourse.
Lowtech SuXorrOx666, baby! Hehehe I use akkus but after a week i have to recharge - since my digicam aint in need of so much power (with display and sound) the mice is just absurd. Jepp looking for more buttons too.:)
What I find astounding is how many gaming news sites initially tried to actually link this to the fans petitioning/bitching... Do spoilt self-important gamers honestly think they have the divine power to dictate a company's game development?
@Target_Renegade: Looks like Stalker! I remembered these shots from the CG Society feature on T4:Salvation - shame about the game, the environments look really good. Also, Bionic Commando: And to go full-circle on the Grin environment power-house :) :
We're witnessing history, gentlemen. Soon Marc will become one of us, a human being, and she will be more powerful than you could possibly imagine... Seriously though, the modeling and texturing is solid. The lack of a soul in the thread is a little disheartening though.
hawken is likely not familiar with the particular milieu of Thief 2 levels. the brightness seems entirely consistent with the originals. coincidentally, you're a braver man than i, gunga din. working on a thief 2 level is a labor of love--more power to you
